I was so blessed to be able to spend Mother's Day with my mom this year. Moving here has been incredible. I can't even begin to explain all of the wonderful things about living where we live. I'm so happy to be here. There is just one thing... we don't know many people yet and that can get quite lonely. We do miss our friends and the connection with a friendly face. Establishing new friendships will take some time and it's easy to feel a little emptiness in your heart where your friends used to fill you up. So when my mom came, we were so excited to be in her familiar presence. So thanks, Mom, for coming to visit. We spent Mother's Day at Anne Springs Close Greenway. It's a beautiful piece of nature about 5 minutes from where we live. Yes...we are so lucky to live here... However, sometimes the nature here can be a little unnerving, snakes... Eeek... Mr. Snake fell right out of a squirrel's nest that was high up in a tree, coiled around a baby squirrel while mother squirrel watched from a nearby tree. Not a good Mother's Day for momma squirrel. That didn't stop these crazy people from getting in the water... Natalie promised me some nature meets dance images and she did not disappoint... Our little photo session was interrupted by Mr. and Mrs. Duck... We had to get some photos with my mom... It was a gorgeous day... just like any other day here down south. Our weekends are filled with adventure and we wouldn't have it any other way!
