Custom Framing and Wall Displays are new for 2014 and it's something that I am very excited to offer my clients. My goal when I photograph your newborn, child or family is to give you portraits that you will want to display in your home as wall art. When you are going through your every day routine and life is busy, I want you to turn that corner in your home and gaze upon your baby, your child, your family unit. I want your portraits to put a smile on your face as you are rushing out the door to school or work. Years from now I want you to see how much they have grown and changed and remember that time when they were little. That's what it's all about...capturing them as they are right now for you to enjoy every day and for many, many years to come. You simply will not find that enjoyment if your portraits are on a disc in a drawer somewhere.
So how does it work? I use a special software that allows me to show you what your portraits will look like on the walls in your home. All I need is a picture of where you would like to add your portraits. The software makes it possible for you to visualize the sizes that work best in your space. You will see the portraits on your wall before you ever place your order. Fabulous, right?
Next we will sit down and decide how you would like to display them. Canvases, bamboo mounts, image blocks and custom frames are all options available to you. I have samples that I will bring along to your home and together, we can match them to your decor. The quality of all of the products that I offer are top notch. Nothing but the best for your memories!
I recently had a client order a wall display using my custom frames. Their family portrait is set to go on one wall in their family room and a wall display of the kids on another...
And let's talk about quality for a moment. When you invest your time and money into your portraits, I want you to have the very best in quality. Quality is so important to me as a photographer and over the past two years I have tested so many different labs until I found the very best. That is what your portraits deserve, the very best in color and quality. For me finding a quality print lab is the same as when looking at engagement rings...color, cut and clarity. For portraits its all about color, clarity and quality.
So, while digital images are nice to have to share with friends and families...what your portraits really deserve is the preservation of wall art. I do offer digital images for those who want them. As well, all my clients who purchase a wall display will receive complimentary, web quality watermarked digital images available for instant download along with a custom app for your phone for social sharing. Technology changes so quickly and computers are already shipping without disc drives. You owe it to yourself and your investment to have your photos printed and displayed in your home so that they will be seen and cherished for a lifetime.
