I am so proud of my little sister. Words cannot express how proud. This girl knew exactly what she wanted to do at the ripe old age of 10. Yes, 10. Never underestimate those early years, because kids have dreams and dreams do come true...if you work hard. Did people take her seriously at 10? At 16? No, not really. Many people tried to put doubts in her head even as she applied to the best fashion school in the country, Kent State University. "You'll never make it in that industry." Well, guess what folks... Laura has graduated from the top fashion school in the United States with honors. That's right...Summa Cum Laude. She has earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising with multiple job offers from some from the industry's top companies. Um...looks like you made it girl. I'm so proud of you and I love you with all my heart. You are truly an inspiration!
"Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe."
Hey look, I made it into a photo...Me, Laura, my brother, my mom and Joshua....
That's one happy momma! She is a mother who never put doubts in our heads, who taught us to always believe in ourselves. She told us that we could accomplish anything if we worked hard. She was right!
You did it!!!!!!!!! <3
