I had the absolute pleasure of working with Sutton in my studio for one of my Summer Studio Event Sessions. I am so thrilled to have studio space to work in with dancers. Dance and ballet photography is so much about movement, lines and strength. In a studio setting it becomes all about YOU! No distractions! You get to show us your face, your talent, and your hard work. Sutton showed off her amazing strength and beauty. She was simply stunning...

Christmas Tree Farm in York, SC $225 – due at time of booking* Upgrade to all images in your gallery at time of booking for $75 – price increases to $100 after your session. Available times: 4:00pm 4:30pm - BOOKED! 5:00pm 5:30pm Someone once told me that you should always do work that brings you great JOY! My heart is forever grateful for all the years I spent learning photography and to all of those who taught me along the way, because I have to tell you... being able to photograph the beginnings of a new little family brings me SO much joy. There is nothing more precious then welcoming a brand new little one to love into a family. I enjoyed my time with this young family more than I can even express in words. It warms my heart to witness the love that exists between them and to document the very beginning of their journey together as a family. Today I want to talk to you a little about my framed wall galleries! I have always offered framed wall galleries, but today I'm kicking it up a notch and I want to take you through the experience step by step. Previously, I only offered 4 gallery collections, but now the design options are endless and tailored to your space and style. Let me show you how it works! Step 1. Before your session I always send a questionnaire asking about your style. If you've had a session with me, you are familiar with the questionnaire. I will ask you to tell me about the colors of you walls, where you shop for furniture, and your decorating style. There is a part in the questionnaire for you to submit a picture of the wall space(s) where you are thinking about adding a wall gallery. I use all of this information to help me when I'm giving you suggestions for what to wear, locations, when I'm capturing you during your session and finally as I begin to design your gallery. We will discuss the results of your questionnaire and all of these things about a week before your session either in person or over the phone, whatever works best for you and what your schedule allows. Step 2. We will have a blast at your session where I will capture a nice mix of more formal looking at the camera poses and relaxed images that show your authentic connection. The whole time I will be thinking about all of the things that you told me are important to you and I will make sure that I capture all of that! Step 3. We will meet up again about 2 weeks later, either in person at your home or virtually on the computer. We will go through each of your images together and decide which ones are best for your space and the frames that you have chosen. I always recommend a wall gallery as opposed to one framed image, because my style of photography is lifestyle. With lifestyle, there is a storytelling element that is usually best displayed with multiple images. It is during this part of the experience that we will decide together which images should be the showpiece images of your story. We can also change it up as we go. We can swap out images, change the number of frames and even the frame sizes until we design something that is completely custom and tailored to your space and style. I should also mention that my software will show you what the images will look like on your walls to scale. There is no guessing about whether or not the gallery is too big or too small for your space. Step 4. About four to six weeks later, I will hand deliver your photos and install any wall art that you ordered. This is my favorite part, because this is when it all comes together. With your images on your wall, you will now be able to enjoy them every single day!!! The jolt of joy that you feel in your heart when you walk past them each day is my "why!" It is why I do what I do and also why I believe that printed products are SO important. But wait... what if you don't want frames? Or maybe you have another space that you would prefer to hang canvases instead. No problem! I offer fine art canvases as well. They are the same archival museum paper as my prints. I use hahnemühle paper, which is the absolute, top of the line fine art papers manufactured in Dassel, Germany. This is what artists use to create fine works of art and that is exactly the quality that I believe you deserve on your walls. My canvases are hahnemühle wrapped around a 1.5" wooden stretcher bar. And remember... while framed wall galleries are perfect for the storytelling elements of lifestyle family and newborn photography, I also offer the exact same product line to my dance clients as well... Some of you might be thinking... I already have so many wall galleries in my home. I'm running out of wall space! That's perfectly OK... I know what that is like. I have so many photos for my own family and I don't want my walls to be overkill with family photos. I get that, for sure! Let me tell you... I walk the talk here! I already have a beautiful wall gallery in our family room, but the images that are in it right now will be three years old this fall. I plan to swap them out with new images this year and move the images in them to our playroom. As my client, I will keep on record the frames and sizes you have already purchased. When you are ready to update them, we can schedule a session and I can come and swap them out for you! While you will pick the showpiece images from your session for your walls, what should you do with the rest of the images from your session? Simple... albums or session books! My full sessions result in around 75 images. So after you've narrowed it down to your favorites and selected the images for your walls, you might still have many images that you still want. I custom design albums in storytelling form for you to enjoy. Remember that jolt of joy that I was talking about? ... my "why?" I promise you that you'll get that same jolt when you come around the corner and find your children, curled up on the sofa flipping through your album giggling about how little they used to be. Trust me... this has happened to me more times than I can count. I've never found my children scrolling through the digital images on the computer, but I have found them flipping through our many photo albums!!! What about digitals? You want your digital images! I know that it's important to you. That is why I offer two paths... You can choose from my three digital collections that include digital images as well as a session album or book. I want you to walk away from your session with something tangible. The experience of professional photography is not complete unless you are holding your images in your hands. As your professional photographer, there is no one more qualified to ensure that your images are printed with the correct cropping, color and quality! You can also choose the second path, a la carte'. Every print that you purchase comes with a digital archive for safe keeping. You may want to choose both paths and have your digital images, your session book or album and a few prints, framed prints, canvases or a wall gallery. Whatever it is that you desire, there is truly something for everyone! My number one most important objective is to make sure that you are happy and that I've served you well! After working with me, I want to know that you are experiencing that jolt of joy daily!
One more thing!!!! To celebrate the relaunch, I am offering 20% off of all session fees (including digital collections) and wall art if you book your fall full session before July 31st, 2018! If you are an existing 2018 client, meaning you have already enjoyed a session with me this year, and you want to enjoy this service, I will re-open your gallery for an additional 14 days and we will schedule a design session. All existing clients will also receive 20% off all wall art! New parents, new baby girl... and baby makes three. Capturing families in their home is my absolute favorite thing to photograph. There is no better place to tell your story. Years from now, you might move to a new home, but you'll always have these images to remind you of where and how your story began. This is just the beginning for this sweet family and this gorgeous newborn baby girl. At just nine days old, so new. Welcome baby Thea...
